Limited Edition Lino/Etching Prints by Sandy Guthrie
A series of prints utilising the mediums of both lino and zinc plate etching that considers the reality behind the polite facade of suburbia. I chose the snorkelling mask after spending time snorkelling in a secluded reef and marvelling at how clear everything below the waterline became as soon as you put the mask on. Sometimes we don’t want to know what is happening in our suburbs, it may be violent or sorrowful, but is equally often poignant, beautiful and loving.
These limited edition prints are available either framed (with black frame and white mount) or unframed.
